Design intent
In the pursuit of culinary excellence, a visionary design emerged: a set of professional knives that balanced functionality and cost-efficiency. The solution was simple yet impactful—each knife, regardless of its use, shared the same handle and mold design. This streamlined production and cut costs significantly.
A clever addition was the colored plug at the end of the handle. This feature allowed chefs to easily switch plugs to identify knives for vegetables, meats, or seafood, simplifying both manufacturing and use. Until then, few knives met FSSAI standards while offering such versatility.
It is important to be comfortable with the knife as we work. There are several different ways a knife can be held. The way one holds the knife will be determined in part by the way the knife and hand fit one another. Hence ergonomics takes up a vital role in this project.
About this website
My web curiosity journey began back in school days (2002) after stumbling upon a small cute book on HTML named “The Rough Guide to The Internet by Angus J Kenny”. Over time I explored MS Frontpage, Dreamweaver, modifying ready template codes and now on a WYSIWYG editor.
With a keen interest in visuals, technicalities of hosting, trying new developments in this industry remained a fun project.
