EXS Plus: The Market Game Changer
A simple concept involving a coloured key identifier button quickly captured market acceptance, leading to its adoption in other key technologies. Transitioning from the circular, soft form to a sharper rectangular geometry with chamfered edges in the EXS Plus key enhanced its perceived value. The wide offset grip also allows for greater torque transfer while turning, reducing strain on the fingers.

The EXS technology’s angular pin arrangement is a highly regarded in-house platform, featured in premium rimlocks in India from Godrej. However, the existing key’s perception at the point of sale failed to convey the technology’s strength.
A significant redesign, incorporating noticeable changes in form and added utility, greatly enhanced the perceived value and boosted rimlock sales.
